1. Data Controller and Contact

OtimoInvest is the data controller for the information collected on this website. For privacy-related inquiries, please email privacy@otimoinvest.com. General inquiries can be directed to our Contact page.

2. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-NQC0RT0Y38) to collect anonymous usage statistics. The tool records information such as pages visited, time spent on pages, referral sources, browser type, screen resolution and approximate geographic location (country/city level). This data helps us understand how visitors use the site and improve our content.

Google Analytics only loads after you have given consent through our cookie banner. Until consent is provided, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google.

3. Google AdSense

When advertisements are displayed on this site, Google may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. This only occurs after you have consented to advertising cookies. 4. Our own visitor statistics (no cookies)

To understand how the site is used, we record page views, time spent on the page, how far you scroll, whether you interacted with the page, approximate location (country and city, derived from your IP address), browser and device type, language and the page you came from. We do not use cookies or similar storage for this. Your IP address is not stored: it is only used to look up approximate location and to create a pseudonymous identifier that changes every day, so visits cannot be linked across days. To determine approximate location, the IP address is sent to an IP geolocation service. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). These statistics are deleted automatically after 24 months at the latest.

5. Cookies and Consent

We use the following categories of cookies:

  • Essential: necessary for the website to function (e.g., session management). These do not require consent.
  • Analytics: used by Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data.
  • Marketing: used by Google AdSense to show relevant advertisements.

Analytics and marketing cookies are only set after you give consent via our cookie banner. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in the footer or by reopening the banner (usually accessible through a small icon in the bottom‑left corner). Withdrawing consent will stop the use of those cookies and clear previously set consent-based cookies where possible.

  • Restrict processing under certain circumstances;

  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

8. Data Retention

Google Analytics data is retained for 26 months as per Google’s default settings. Anonymised engagement data from our first‑party tracker is kept for a limited period necessary for aggregated analysis. We do not store any personal data on our own servers beyond the duration required to deliver the requested service.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page indicates when it was last revised. Your continued use of the site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
